I do not know how far you have gone so far, but you should really talk to a therapist about your dysphoria. It may sound a little weird, but it will help a lot. It would be best to find a therapist that has experience with GID, so that they can help you better.

I am new to giving advice, but this would be a solid start to starting on your exciting journey.

It's best to think about what you want out of your transition and go from there.  If you're interested in hormones it would be best to speak to an endocrinologist, but your GP might be able to help too.  Also, getting a hold of a gender therapist is a good plan.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

This might be more encouraging than constructive, but you've already started and made a pretty big step, simply by joining us and announcing that you are a man.

I bump the finding a good therapist that has experience with TS clients and has a good amount of experience with GID and all aspects of the transgendered.  Also, before you find one, talk to people that have done it.  Be objective when listening though, because some people do not know what they are talking about, but you can pick and choose.  Alot of people's experiences will help in you building a good broad knowledge base to work on.  Going on boards like this will help a lot.

If you can ask your GP for a referral to the gender therapist.  It isn't in any way a big deal BTW. Your clinical and medical relationship with you GP are totally confidential. They have to do what you ask in a referral.
