Some girls I know look lovely with silicone injections but even if it were a success, I'd be afraid of the long term effects.

Some women having older type breast implants, silicone is ALWAYS contained in a 'bag'. Yet those implants can rupture and so the silicone then WILL leak out. A close friend had that happening after a car accident.
(Newer type implants, Cohesive silicone gel, still on test in US, will not really leak)

She had to have the leaked out silicon removed due to the health hazard. Was feeling quite sick. It was expensive and VERY unpleasant to boot.

Now would you want to create such a health hazard by injecting the stuff?! Creating much the same effect. I guess not.

Leaking silicone implants were and still are a MAJOR health issue for breast implants not so very long ago... BTW, leaked silicon is considered carcinogenic too.
Just for further reflection on the subject.

Liposculpting, as it is called, is the process of taking the fat from your gut and putting it your butt (or hips).

It is actually quite effective and permanent.

What happens is that when the fat is harvested and transferred, a certain amount of the fat cells will die and be lost.  The amount that is lost depends on the part of the body where it is deposited.  Approximately 25-40% will be lost in the hip/butt and even higher in the case of facial fat sculpting.

However the amount that survives the transplantation will be there permanently and act just as they did before.  Like getting larger when you even look at a chocolate sundae.  :)

And the location where the fat has been harvested will never grow more fat cells.  So it's kind of a win in both areas.

But it can be expensive, but probably not more so than silicone implants.  And much safer.

Check around with the more popular plastic surgeons for their position on the subject.

I had liposculpting and fat with Dr Z about two weeks ago and although I'm still waiting for all the swelling and stuff to go down the results so far look amazing, I'll be able to make a better judgement on the results in a few months once everything has settled.

You can also get solid silicone implants which arn't as dangerous as silicone injections, I think Dr Chugay does them.

Yes there is.
But what Sandy put is pretty much all you really need to know.

Liposculpting is so much more better health wise than silicone implants.

If one's top, as in my case, is a 14 (Chinese XL) and one's butt is a 12 (Chinese L); AND one still looks like having too narrow hips?

Some say the jig is up once you're past size 12 (as a European type female), and in my case I AM size 12 - well my butt is.

It be a consideration to remember that loosing more ON TOP - if possible, and during early-ish HRT and transition (2 years plus) .
It will need quite some more patience though, no question, and the same does of course apply to for BA considerations.

I have been considering liposuction around my belly area as that's what's happened after many years of HRT. Any fat accumulated in that area and not so much on the hip area. It is very frustrating.

I am 16 on the top and 12 on the bottom which is pretty bad. I think many of us have a similar problem. It difficult when buying clothes, especially if they are a set and you have to quickly swap the tops around.

Yes Dear, it's what I meant.
From start of transition (2 years back) to now, I have lost AT LEAST 1 size, and then some. This is despite actually having GAINED weight overall, about 10 pounds.
My chest (band size) was close to a 42 = 18! - now pretty much a 38 = 14.
The loss is a mix of fat and muscle, due to HRT and probably SRS.
All in all it's a function of TIME... low-ish T and ~ female E levels.

My experience.

I don't understand these #, 42=18, 16, 12..etc...I am 43 around my ribcage, there is no bra that fits me w/out certain adjustments. However, I am still in the male mode, HRT begins june 7, 2012, and hope that breasts begin to form in the next 12months or so.. Meaning, after my breasts grow a bit, I will be much larger around my pectoral area?

Those are common female cloths/dress sizes, and yes 43" around the ribcage is 'sizeable' - if measured BELOW your breasts/pecs.
In my experience though, when I measured 42" I could fit a (band) size 40 bras, having a stretch band!
However, any of those large bras do not come with small cups and start usually with a C cup going up to an E or F! Size 40 starting with a B cup which is still HUGE! (Cup size/volume for the same letter A,B,C,D etc. increase in volume with increased band size)
Once your breasts grow, your band-size will not normally increase, rather lessen due to loss of lats muscles and also loss of body fat on your back and behind arms and arm pits.
You are also quite likely to loose some fat, AND muscle below your breasts. All added may reduce overall chest size at least to a band size 40 (my guess), which happens to be about a dress size 16 or 18 depending on make.
The pectoral area is where your cup size comes in, the band size is measured BELOW your pectoral area.

I hope this all makes sense?

I like the sound of this liposculpting, seems like eating cakes and lipo=way more fun than dieting!
Axelle if im 34 under bust and 38 on the bust what does that make me? Is there a guide to work out dress sizes/bra sizes that you would recommend?

Oh hon, call YOUR self lucky, 34" eh?
That means about a 34 band (can't see a 32" here, really... that be tiny!) and B+ to a C cup?!?
UNLESS you have some major lats and pecs i.e. those 4" difference all spread about your upper chest, front AND back.
The under bust must be measured not exhaled, and bust (over nipples) not inhaled, eh? :)
Both just relaxed, um.
Each ~ 2 inches diff. is about one cup size as I recall.

Lastly, bras do differ A LOT, my experience.
Some band sizes are plenty smaller the others, some cups are lots closer together then others.
So... being able to try them on does help a LOT, meaning: saves money from a unsuitable purchase.

Axélle
PS: there are tables out on the web, yet I found them 'iffy' and for dress size you'd look at your under bust size or one up. So that be a 34 = size 10 - again I wonder. That small for the average male skeleton, for a tight t shirt it be fine, otherwise a size 36 = 12 = medium. Most of us at least at the start of HRT are more in need for a large, and if Chinese XL...

Well if I breathe in it is 32. I still got some weight loss to go yet too so maybe I will reach 32, that would be nice.
