This is one thing that I remember well from old 1950's TV series and movies. It was the standard "day dress" for most women, suitable for most activities from shopping to meetings to daytime parties. I have always thought it was wonderful, because it looks so feminine and yet so simple and comfortable, expecially in the summer, with that gorgeous full skirt. And it looks good on any woman, something you can't say about a lot of the current fashions. In deserves to be brought back in all of its many variations.

I believe that is called the "A-line" skirt.

Yes, very classy.

Which leads us to...the Poodle skirt.

Any other classic styles (men or women)?
