Well i found an ancient photo of me the other day... two years old, before i did army stuff...

and 2 years later, and 3 months of hrt... and here i am today (well thursday last)

im quite honestly shocked!

yeah 3 months... granted my hair looks crap, but i was just dragged out of bed in that photo >< no makeup, bad hair, and i pass, quite amuseing

i had forgotten about this, until now: I look much younger now.

I was cleaning and discarding old papers when I found an old driver's license and some old photographs...

I was struck at how much older that I looked back then. Very much so.

Back in the bad old days...

I still have big anger and bitterness issues as I write this, but I could see these in my expression in those pictures and that represented the norm.

Notwithstanding what I am dealing with now, I smile and laugh now and this increasingly now represents the norm.

It's a good place to be.

In like, 7th or 8th grade when my parents had me keeping my hair long.

My "graduation" portrait every band student had to have taken at the end of junior high. The hair was chopped off next month.
