ACMAC

Hi I'm Alex, I'm Canadian, and I'm 21. I'm FTM and have been on T for five months now. I live in a town about 45 minutes out of Vancouver but I don't have a licence so I have to take the bus everywhere I go. My town (at lest to me) has a "small town" mentality without being a small town. I'm out to my family, friends and at work, and because of this I've lost some people from my life. I'm transitioning mostly alone and I'm looking for people to talk to, ask question that I would at a support group and (I'm hopping) to find a friend or two.

Can't wait to look around here and meeting everyone!

Hello and Welcome from across the big pond.  There are quite a few girls and guys from your part of the world on here, so I am sure you will be able to pick up lots of relevant info.  Due to time differences there is usually someone on here from somewhere in the world pretty much any time.

Hi Alex.  Southern California checking in to say, "Welcome."
No rainbows here today, I'm afraid to say.  Just another sunny day.

Hi Alex  , :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 6976 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

hi ACMAC,

I live a bit west of Toronto (people in Vancouver say about people from Toronto "sorry for you," lol). My Sis & her family live in Vancouver & I visit them. About two years ago my Sis drove us to your lovely town. Saw the original historical settlement there. I like railway history & saw the vintage rail cars at the old station. There is an excellent colorful mural on history there by some shops on the main street in town. You are so fortunate to have the support of family, friends & work people. I am on the flip side of your transition. Just in the process of checking out some tweeking in transition.

All the best to you in your transition.

Hi Alex

Another big (chilly) Aussie welcome to Susan's family. There is a mountain of resources and friendships here for you.

Sorry to hear you've lost some relationships in your journey. Just remember; those that matter, don't care what you are and those that care don't matter. If you get what I mean.

Keep in touch and let us know how you are traveling. Cindy James (our GodMother) has a post to help you round the home here. It's a big place for 7,000 odd people. (Odd as in number, not in type LOL)

Look forward to hear more from you in time to come, but be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs

No worries sweetie 3.4145. There's nothing in the T&C's that prohibit popping rainbows. I just like the colour scheme. Brightens up the room somewhat. Not that you don't put a smile on MY face, every time I visit.
