Greetings and Salutaions, I am new here and starting to feel better

I have been posting in the transsexual forum section and the spirituality forum, and yet i neglected to post here. I have for some time off and on and mostly it seems now from what I gather been in suppression over my identity. I wanted to show also some pictures of my past self and current self at age 40. I went back and looked at some photos mom gave me (she keeps all the good ones) and I am starting to see something in them that I didn't see before at least not really, i look and see that I looked rather feminine especially in my younger pics. I am not the baby in pink though that's my brother, I am in the tshirt. Even though I am wearing male clothes or whats considered to be them. I look back and even at the pic of me at age 30 I can see a feminine quality (me with the 9/11 shirt) It is amazing to me to see these photos in a new light. Oh and the picture of me with the cake is a few years ago.


I don't know if you see it, but i am seeing the girl inside of my eyes. I felt it before on and off since I was 10. But I am starting to see it instead of just feeling it.  Anyways I wanted to greet officially and say hello to everyone.

I felt I needed to show you my kid photos, because that is what I think I have seem to have lost is my real kid self along the way somewhere, especially after all the abuse and crazy crap that happened to me as a child and a teen.

Your intro here makes me think that I should probably dredge up some "before" pictures, too.

As a kid, it never occurred to me that transition was something that could even happen. Between the ages of 19 and 37, I was focussed on providing for my family and I pretty much disregarded my own desires. That all changed in early 2008 when I read Luna by Julie Anne Peters. My transition began in earnest in January 2011, when I was 41.

I like the smile and your eyes in the picture with the blue T-shirt. It's definitely a femme face and smile, to me.

Yes I think I was really happy that day and relaxed. This picture was taken just 1 year after I started chatting on other transgender forums and chats for the 1st time in my life (but i only did so for a few months and then stopped and never chatted again until now)

I have gained a alot of weight which has not helped and I was much skinnier then too. I am not sure how but yeah that smile does seem more feminine than any of my smiles before. I actually dressed as a female in full feminine style outfit with makeup on when I was dating a girl, i even took pictures, but I threw them away and once again buried the idea.
