Ok so I haven't started t yet but I have a question my voice is already qite deep for female so when I do start taking t will I end up with a normal sounding voice or could I end up with some weird super deep voice

IMHO, I don't think the deepness of the voice pre-T makes much difference - I have heard guys whose voices were Minnie Mouse high pre-T but had baritone pitch at 8 months on T.  Then I've heard pre-T guys with almost-male level voices have little to no change after T, so I don't know - everyone's vocal chords change differently with T.

I'll second what Kreuzfidel said.  I had a pretty low voice pre-T, but have only gained maybe an octave on the low end.  But then, even after 3 years, my voice is still slowly dropping.  One thing I have learned, though, is that you actually have quite a bit of control over where your voice ends up, and some people have to make a conscious effort to avoid the dread "->-bleeped-<- Voice".  If your voice doesn't end up where you want it, it might be worth your while to search out a voice coach to help you.

The boys are right.. I too had a pretty deep voice pre T and while I still noticed when it started to drop, I more noticed it started to get pitchy and break when I tried to yell etc or stress my voice.. And it definitely changed my singing voice - catch 22 coz I can now sing in a much lower register than I could before (and even at 2 and a half years on T I'm still getting used to it!) but at the same time I can't sing anywhere near the high notes I used to hit...

It's all up to the individual but I haven't ended up sounding like Barry White coz I already had a deepish voice  :D

I don't know about T Justin, but I do know that a male voice is not just lower pitch, there are differences resonance and that sort of thing. I actually have a low voice too, and can sing into the tenor range.

Someone else would have to answer whether their voice got richer, etc.
You could always go down to baritone which would be awesome. :)

I had a deep voice pre-T. Much of my life I worked to pitch it higher than natural, so people on the phone wouldn't call me "young man" and so when I was a server I could get better tips.

I started t in december at age 30. My voice dropped a lot after a few months, and it has started to crack a bit again lately, so it maybe isn't all the way changed. Idk. But while I can't get to Thom Yorke high, I also can't get Stephin Merritt low.
