I think this might be the first review of the Reel Magik basic packer. For sure on Susan's or anything else I can find on google.
So here goes. Keep in mind that I am not actually ftm but genderqueer so ymmd (though I think this goes for everything).
I got the soft caucasian one.
It comes packaged discretely.
Smell: Some chemical smell-- not worse than other packers, imo. (Though it smells different, I'd say.)
Construction is awesome. Looks very well made with no obvious weak points (as far as I can see anyway). What would logically the weak point is done very well.
Color: This is the best color I have seen in a basic packer. I am on the light side, and it pretty much matches my inside arm (yeah I know should be a bit darker) but still really good and not at all sickly looking. It is not at all yellowish or any odd shade.
Feel out of the box: Not at all sticky. You do not need powder on this and they are right. It is a little firmer than the GV Sailor, but not significantly. This is much heavier than the Sailor. I'd say about double the weight.
The height and size are kind of similar to the Sailor. Yes, the Sailor doesn't have the testicles and so on, but it tends to stick out higher. length is about the same (I have the 4 inch). I believe the Reel Magik is a bit longer.
Look: This is a really realistic looking one. Comparing to a GV Sailor, the veins, wrinkles, etc are not just a millimeter deep but into the material. The head is very defined. This thing is very detailed-- look over on the back and more detail. The testicles/scrotum look pretty good. I think for the cost they are good. There is a sort of hollowed out area where the dick actually falls.
Feel: This is just a little firmer (but not much more than the Sailor). The one thing I like better about the Sailor is the bit of firmness from the inner core. It is kind of rough (and here's where you might like a tiny bit of powder if you are like a five year old boy with your's
). The testicles/scrotum are not squishier than the rest of it. It's all equally squishy. It would probably pass the grab test, I'm not sure as I don't know how these are conducted.
Packing: Ok, I kind of hesitate to write this so take this from someone who doesn't actually go out in public. However, I thought I'd try and write something. I put this in (men's) briefs. It fits really nicely and feels good (nothing uncomfortable). I put on Dockers. I do not own tight pants. It definitely did not give me a boner. It does not feel too heavy to pack with.
