Hello, I thought that it may be good for me to post an introduction. I have been lurking for a while. For most of my life I have always felt off. Up until a few months ago I did not have a name to put to my feelings. I have always identified with female identities. I am 43yr old married for 20yrs and have three daughters. I told my wife a couple of weeks ago, and all she said, is I gave her a lot to think about and that she is not attracted to females. We went to a therapist together and are going to continue going and splitting the hour appointment. I am hopping beyond hope that we stay together. I told her that if I transition it would be up to her. I told her that I have lived this way up until now and can if need be continue that way. nothing like the waiting game.
Cya for now

Welcome to our little family. Over 7284 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi Geo, it's nice to meet you! You've come to the right place. People here are willing to share their experiences and feelings. It's easier when you know you're not alone. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Hi Geo,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. Good to see you are doing the right things about talking to your wife and seeing a therapist. A very balanced way to approach the matter.

All strength to you if you can live that way, just waiting. Your wife may be interested in joining you here in the Significant Others section. I'm sure she would get some relief and possible answers there.

Look forward to hearing more from you in the coming time, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
