Quote from: AlecSky on June 21, 2012, 11:46:49 AMI made myself a duct tape wallet the other week: It's not perfect but it does the job better than the wallet I had before, I find that fabric wallets are too thick to comfortably fit into my pockets, especially in jeans, and although I'd like a nice leather wallet I can't quite justify the price when I can make one out of tape.
Quote from: aleon515 on June 21, 2012, 12:04:13 PMYou did a nice job on your duct tape wallet is it Alec? (There are youtube videos on how. The part that puzzled me a bit was the credit card thing, but all doable.) It was funny people saying how expensive they were. A roll of duct tape is what? $4?Just do a youtube search, Jasper. I just did and there are maybe 20+ videos.Thinkgeek actually makes them http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/accessories/5f21/?srp=7But then they actually have plush toy microbes. --Jay Jay

Quote from: insideontheoutside on June 21, 2012, 07:26:00 PMIn certain areas (especially overseas) I'd worry about pick pockets if I had my wallet dangling from my belt I just stick my wallet in my back pocket like the majority of other dudes. If I'm traveling and have multiple things to carry I break out my small messenger bag. Keys I have on one of those caribiner things and just slip that through a belt loop (unless I'm traveling then it goes in the messenger bag).
