i want to but, i guess i'm afraid of rejection. i mean she just moved in and she proberbly already has a boyfriend. plus i'm not sure but there is a girl i have been friends with for a while.she knows and excepts that i am trans and i think she likes me. i don't have a clue what to do how do you know if some one likes you?

That, I have no advice for... My friend I've known for 6 years asked me out last year and I shrugged him off thinking he was joking until he randomly kissed me on the school bus and now we're dating lol
I had no idea at all that he liked me
Same with girls I think
They're sneaky about their crushes, some of them

I'm attracted to men only so the girl stuff I'm not as familiar with.  I did date one girl for several years, so I have some experience but it's rather limited.

It would probably be better for you if you met girls without your dad around.  What else do you know about your neighbor besides her looks?  How do you know you've ruined your chances?  You say your friend is accepting--this girl might be too.  Get to know her first, if you are truly interested, before losing all hope.

As for knowing if someone likes you, I'm not sure.  I think a lot of people have that problem.  Flirting with you, touching you while talking, asking to see you more often, sitting/standing/being physically closer to you, those could all possibly indicate she likes you.  But without asking or her telling you, I don't think there's a way to know for sure.
