Understandable.  Bleeding is common during the process and you should be alright as long as the bleeding is not continuous but you have to be extra careful to avoid infection.  Dr Brassard had us soak our dilators in a mix of Hibiclens and distilled water.  Make sure everything is clean before you dilate including your hands--use disposable gloves if you have to.  This may sound gross but, if you have a digital camera, maybe you could post a picture showing the amount of blood on the dilator and towel.  Also, don't try to increase the size of dilator--only use the smallest one for now--and don't apply too much pressure.  Just gentle pressure.

MandyH92 says thank you, Krystin...she's on Skype right now and can't see or reply just yet. I quoted your post for her to read.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I remember like my 3rd time dilating I had alot of blood come out but I was told it was old blood from the surgery clearing out. I wouldnt worry too much about bleeding unless its like pouring out and wont stop. I bled off and on for almost 7 months. month 3 4 and 5 there was blood everytime I dilated.
