inspired by the vainy post on the mtf forum I wonder.

Do anyone feel theyre veins turned bigger after starting T?

wheat thins are delicious

I heard it was because of higher blood pressure from being on T.

That would explain why betablockers make all the prominent veins disappear..

I've always been pretty veiny and I've never had high blood pressure.
I have gotten more veined since being on HRT, but I also go to the gym a lot and have gotten more muscular, so I wonder if that has something to do with it too.

I've actually heard it's because your skin is a bit thinner and different texture.
Actually I have very veiny hands (no T), and no high blood pressure.

YES omg i got a ->-bleeped-<- ton more veiny and my blood preasure is totally normal (i think) but its  great theyve been popping out more since i tarted lifting more regularly nd now that im on T and lifting  bunch they are really popping. i might be able to post a pic pf my veins last night when i was working out my right bicep vein could be felt through my skin for the first time ever the huge vein on his bicep is the vein im talking about.

How prominent your veins are has to do with body fat percentage and where its located. What to be less "veiny" gain weight like fat weight, what more veins to show lose fat and build muscle.

My veins haven't gotten any bigger they have gotten more prominent from losing weight.

oh my gosh. so much veins! i was never veiny, couldn't see a single on. now you can see them in my hands, feet, one on the arms, and i can feel one in my temple.
though, i did loose 17 pounds, so that might have something to do with it...
but i also have normal blood pressure sense starting T, i always had low before that and would have those scarey 5 second blackouts when i stood up to fast. now they're few and far between and the nurse can actually find my vein when she draws blood. so i'm not complaining :)

Oh boy, me too. I have had the nurse at work (at middle school) come into my room and take my BP. It's kind of embarrassing if you have a class of 7th graders. Happens to me all the time.

I always thought that except for the size, my hands look like guy hands, and now I know why. I have long fingers but couldn't play a piano to save my life.

My veins have become much more prominent.  The ones on my forearms are clearly visible and palpable.  Personally, I love the look of it on other guys and I enjoy it on myself as well.  It's sometimes strange to touch the back of my arm and feel a vein, but it's a good kind of strange lol

My blood pressure has actually lowered on T.  My body fat and weight have decreased though.  Increased muscle, decreased body fat (see bodybuilder below) tend to cause larger, more prominent veins.
