So I've seen a lot of videos with guys that are.. I dunno.. 30 lbs heavier than I am? They look a lot fatter, that's for sure. And their  "cup size" is like waaaay huger than mine, but the binders they wear are a medium size.  That just makes no sense to me, since I can only fit in a large.  Do I just have a wider frame or something?  I also wear a medium size in everything else. So I'm confused.

Does sizing confuse anyone else?

I don't even know if this is the right forum for this...

How do you know they are heavier?  They may look that way but are they actually physically larger than you?  Appearances can be deceiving especially through pictures/video.

I've figured that you get a funny idea too. I went with a medium on my LLB binder, based on measuring but also by looking at guys on the net. Unless they give you their exact measurements-- and most do not. You really have no idea. They may be heavier in a different place than you.

I talked to someone and she (yeah it's a she, she is just has severe chest dysphoria) and she is a good 25 lbs more than me, yet she fits easily in a large, which barely fits me. Go figure.

Shape makes a huge difference in general. Even before I started to transition and when I was extremely underweight I still wore bigger sizes than a lot of my fat friends. Now I am fat which sucks i need to start to get back onto my routine but shape has a lot to do with it like broader shoulders or ribcage.

I think height plays a pretty great factor as well. They may be bigger but quite short, so perhaps they fit relatively well into a medium. I wear an Underworks large, as mediums are too short for my torso (and are more comfortable for me personally while still binding well.)

Mediums 997 binders from underworks are still hella long on me.  I'm 5'4"

Yeah, I wear a large 997 double front compression. :) I'm about 5'8", give or take a couple of cm.
