I'm currently 5'9". Could be worse I guess, but also pre HRT and hoping to lose a little if possible. Same with shoe size, currently at around 11 wide though tend to end up in 12 men due to the wide part. Hoping for some help there as well. I know effects are random per person though so I'm not counting on either of those. Amazingly even being overweight my hands and arms aren't overly male. At least in my opinion.

Height comes up every now and again. Most models are a minimum of 5'11" and many are over. Tall girls get good looks, long legs are attractive and tall girls can wear all sorts of cute stuff. Shoe size isn't a problem many woman have 'big' feet. Wear elegant shoes that look good, ugg boots look disgusting except around the house (IMO). If you've got it flaunt it, and so many short girls want to be tall.

I'm 171cm which is 5' 7" I used to be 5' 9'' but have shrunk on HRT. But I wear heels so I'm usually 5'10' ish. and many girls are taller than me without heels.

Tall guys like tall girls as well :o

Haha I dont agree with the tall guys like tall girls part... All my boyfriends have been 6 "2+
And all the men that have pursued me, and if theres one thing they all said in common is that they love small petite girls.

6ft 1in.. Was 6/3 3-4 years ago. I am not sure if I can be shorter but if its possible give it to me :D .

Shoesize was 12 1/2 (mens) before but now it is  9 in mens size. I am not sure what happened? It is my with that has decreased over time.

Pretty big hands unfortunately but they atleast have a feminine look. All women on my mothers side have big hands so I got them from her.

You can loose height from HRT, my doctor told me this too. It has something to do with the fluid in the disks in your spine.. Oh well something like that anyway. I have shrunken because of that but I did this even before hormones.

HRT DOES NOT DECREASE HEIGHT LMAO

 :icon_female: I am about 5 '8". being tall doesn't mean you can't pass!!!

I'm approximately 1.95 meters (or about 6ft 5in), long slim bones, small feet and hands.

That is what you get from a life long low T: You just keep growing vertical and not much more then that. So I'm rather tall with a rather thin frame (and currently very overweight). Mywrist circumference about 7 inches right now and I think it would be less then 6 inches when I'm on my goal weight?

Should I transition then it has to be near perfect because there is no way I will ever be able to hide anywhere?
And finding clothes will forever be a problem.

Yes it does....by means of autosuggestion that is...;-)

Reading these stories about 'decreasing in height' AND/OR 'shrinking feet/smaller shoesize' when on hormones make me laugh too :-)

But yes, 'decreased height' when on hormones can mean  (severe!) osteoporosis and alas: your shoesize will increase with age.

All people's feet will 'stretch' with age because you're standing on them, walking on them...with your full weight, doesn't matter if you're under or overweight or having a normal weight: they will stretch to at least 1 size bigger over the years.

You're right. This happens too when very young pre adolescent MTF go on 'anti puberty' hormones.

They grow unusually tall (and thin) like the 18/19th century pre puberty castrated singers did after castration/cessation of testosterone.

On a side note: 'anti puberty' hormones use on very young MTF doesn't always mean their faces will automatically become as feminine as cisgirls; developing a wide jaw, chin and/or a masculine, sloping forehead is a matter of genetics that can't be stopped by using 'anti puberty' hormones in time.

:police: Being 6 feet tall I would be wonder woman's size (from DC comics official pages she is 6 feet tall and 165) now im not 165 yet but my goal is to go from 350 to 175 in 1 1/2 years (safeway according to ymca and doctor)  so I can reach her stats and be satisfied, but I am still supergirl more than I am wonder woman inside my heart. (i was 350 a few months ago now I am 300   )

I'm 5'9, and a size 12 shoe size.  It's on the upper end of the scale, but I've definitely known plenty of cis women with the same dimensions.  The downside is I really have to buy all of my shoes on Zappos.  The upside is, there's a Zappos.

I am 5'10'' now and I was 5'10'' almost 30 years ago when I had SRS while in my early 20s. I started estrogen on and off since I was 15 years old as supply permitted.  3 years prior to SRS I was on HRT full time and have never quit.  I ditto some in this thread, that it seems extremely improbable that ones height would change as a result of HRT.

As far as height, I think you draw more negative attention by trying to hide it and less if carry yourself proudly.  Easier said than done, but it can be done.

5'3" or so and stick-thin; no shape to speak of.

My hips aren't much bigger than my chest. But, well, it's no big deal...

5' 5" --same as I was 8 years ago before hormones and transition.  While height has some bearing on passing, a multitude of factors come into play including body shape, weight distribution, etc.  None of this matters as much as how you walk and carry yourself.  I'm sure it's already been mentioned but HRT and transition have NO effect upon height.
