Is there a possibility of breast tissue fully growing back after top surgery? I know this probably sounds stupid but I've seen a lot of threads covering this subject on multiple websites, and I still don't know what the definitive answer is. I'm 18 and recently had top surgery with Dr. Garramone. I'm pre-T, and I'm still debating whether I want to start T, because I've heard T can cause damage to the female reproductive organs, and I don't know how long it'll be before I can have a full hysterectomy. I've heard people say that it's possible, I've heard people say that it's completely impossible. I've heard people say that if you don't go on T and you get top surgery while your breasts are still growing, then your moobs could grow back. I've heard people say that if the surgeon didn't remove all the breast tissue, they could grow back if you don't go on T. So I don't know what to believe. I know that women who undergo mastectomies for health reasons don't usually have regrowth, so why does the answer seem so unclear with transguys? Maybe it's just because we're so afraid for them to grow back... But, really, what's the real answer?

Good question. I'm curious about this too. Also wondering if you stop taking T would the breast grow back? Then surgery would be for nothing, whether your pre-T or not.

wheat thins are delicious

No, they won't.  That's not to say if you get fat, that fat won't deposit there but breast tissue will not grow.

No, your breasts won't grow back. Women who have mastectomies do not have re-growth of their breast tissue & that is basically what guys who have double incision get: double mastectomies.

All that tissue is scooped out :P

Good point about the getting fat though.
