After dabbling in television, radio and politics, now, Rose Venkatesan is all set to become the country's first sex-changed transgender filmmaker. And for her debut film, Rose has chosen match-fixing in cricket as the theme.

"Initially, I wanted to do a film based on transgender issues, but I wanted it to be a mass entertainer. A lot of my friends had shared with details on how they lost money by betting on cricket matches and I realized that the match-fixing controversies surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL) are making a fool of the people who watch the sport. So, I hit upon the idea of scripting a film with both these elements," begins Rose.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
