I have been pondering about this for quite some time now and I keep forgetting to ask my therapist. It is easy to think in bouts of years when you are young, always having a goal. It starts with getting therapy, then T, then the surgeries etc until you are 'done'. Then life can be lived, right?
But what happens when trans people get old? Old as in, say, 70+. Biological women and men would have stopped reproduction, and the production of estrogenes and testosterone is reduced. So my question is, when a transguy gets old(er), does the T treatment slowly come a halt as well to mimic the natural process? And if so, will this not have effects on our bodies that biological men would not experience?
