Hmm... I doubt it. You need a letter. If youre close enough to Shreveport I went to Therapist Ken Beattie for the center for family health. I got a letter in like 2 months. If you need an endocrinologist I strongly recommend Melissa Albritton. However she will not see you without the letter.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Your experience is a perfect example for why we need more "informed consent" access.  You don't really need a specialist to write the scripts. Perhaps there is an experienced general practitioner in the New Orleans area who specializes in GLBT issues; one who understands and is sympathetic to transpersons and their medical challenges.

I'm sure there are trans services in NO.  start at LGBT Community Center, 2114 Decatur Street, they will have lists

FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Part of it is she has 7 months invested into the current one.  "Gatekeepers" really are upsetting.  I mean, just look at Angelique in her avatar photo.  She's already a beautiful young lady.  There's no good reason for the therapist to provide her with the letter of diagnosis.

Perhaps Angelique ought to ask the therapist for the determination next visit, with the suggestion of no more business.

I am a post op FTM, looking for a TG specialist therapist in the Louisiana area. I am in need of Hormone therapy, etc.  May I have that information on your Post Op FTM Therapist.  Thanks..
