Cheaper to do major operations in Canada ?

Hi, I live in California and I have Kaiser. I spoke with the members services and they say my transgender process is elective, therefore all expenses must come from my pocket. SRS, FFS, etc surgery (voice?)

I was wondering how might I be able to purchase an insurance plan prior to the whole process so I keep more money for myself? I have heard that Canada is more lenient, etc. I have known of one family member that went to canada to do laser eye surgery and rhinplasty but havent heard about anything else. this is really my very very first time about this whole process. I am 21 years old and I'm looking to start by this year.

I don't understand what you're asking. Our public health insurance pays for SRS in some provinces, but not all of them. They ALL have residency requirements (minimum 3 months, typically) AND the process takes ~2yrs to get approved. There's no free lunch. If you're paying your way, we're no cheaper than the US for most things like this.

I live in Ontario and I'm likely headed to femilife (Peru) for my FFS.
