I decided it would be wise to have my levels checked. I've been on HRT for 18 years and have only had my estrogen level checked once in 1999. I'm also pre-op.

I had some concern that my estrogen levels were high, as I have some hyper pigmented patches on my cheek bones, indicating melasma. I'm dealing with this with a product called Obagi. It's working really well, but I'm still in the peeling stage, so feeling a tad more anti-social than usual.

I'm on a relatively low dose of cyproterone. I was expecting my T levels to be higher as my libido can be quite high at times. Also I'm fully functional down there. But I do suffer from a lot of tiredness and often a kind of brain fog.

E = 848 pmol/L or 231 pg/dl
T = 0.4  nmol/L or 11.5 ng/dl

I think these levels are actually fine. I'm sending these results to my gender specialist to discuss further.
