Soulforce news

Hollie Linder, director of marketing and public relations for NNU, said while NNU faculty plans to treat the Soulforce students with "respect and hospitality," university leaders do not believe the current student policy needs to be amended.

"When it comes down to it, we believe that our policy is Biblical and fair," she said. "This is what we would expect for our students."

Kneefel said some schools, including NNU, have student policies that use vocabulary forbidding any level of homosexual relationships, which Soulforce feels is oppressive.

NNU is just one stop in a seven-week tour where Soulforce will make contact with 16 different Christian colleges and universities, including George Fox University in Oregon, Brigham Young University in Utah and Trinity Bible College in North Dakota.
