Elizabeth D. McClerkin. Police officials say McClerkin's mugshot from the jail is accurate.

Elizabeth D. McClerkin is being held in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of aggravated battery after Boise police say she stabbed a man several times with a knife in the torso early Saturday morning.

Police officials said Monday the man was taken by paramedics to a local hospital early Saturday morning for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police were sent to a home in the 11000 block of West Ustick Road around 2:30 a.m. to investigate a 911 call for a stabbing. Witnesses told police McClerkin and the man were having an argument when McClerkin stabbed him several times with a knife. Witnesses also said McClerkin left the house after the stabbing.
