Shopping is fun :)

Out and about today and stopped by one of my favorite locally owned shops that has lots of cute tie-dye clothes, I liked the colors on these two tops the pink one will be nice on these hot summer California days, and the other will go with a cute white skirt I have as well as with my denim skirts and shorts....fun!!

I don't find shopping fun! I if I go shopping which isn't that often these days I spend hours and never find exactly what I am looking for. Then I see something that I think will look good on me and it doesn't look good on me or doesn't fit right. I sometime's find shopping very depressing. Occasionally I'll find something that works and will wear it all the time!

I think my upper body would be too big for those two nice tops you have bought Michelle! I also try and find long line tops because they look better on me and are better at hiding the flaws in my disproportionate body shape.

I understand where you're coming from.  If I'm out by myself I tend to feel the same way.  Now if I'm able to get out with my wife or a friend then it's a completely different story and I really enjoy it.

Hi Madison, I've never had a wife but I've been buying and wearing female clothes since 1984 and have been full time for a number of years! But recently I've put on weight in the wrong areas (i.e the belly area) which restricts what I can buy or what looks good on me. Long before HRT my body shape was much better proportioned and smaller on the top half of my body but during the 14 years I've been on HRT my shape has gradually got worse. The HRT seems to encourage fat in the belly area but the rest of my body is quite skinny. In some clothes I look pregnant, especially white tops which I try and avoid.

I have gone shopping with a friend a few times but she and I usually disagree on style of clothes we like so I prefer to shop on my own.

They're both really cute, but I absolutely love the one on the left!  Atypical tie-dye is just neat!

Went shopping at the "big mall" this afternoon

Got a couple tops, a cute short black skirt and stopped by Victoria's Secret for some undies (darn them for having new styles and colors every other week)

The tops and skirt will mix & match with other things I have to put together some cute outfits
