Any experience with or opinions re: this surgeon?

I really need your help.  This FFS doctor is located in my area, but I'm not sure how to assess these surgeons, how much credibility to give to their web sites.  His site has an extensive photo gallery (one has to "register" to view the pictures, but it only takes a few seconds and opens up lots of photos to examine as well as videos.)

Please let me know what you think.
