Angel in the Snow

Hey there! I just got finished reading through all of the rules and stuff, and I thought I'd post a quick intro for myself.
I'm Charlie. I'm a trans woman going to college in the midwest. I spend a lot of my time making music, looking for new things to cook, and playing with clothes and makeup.
I've been transitioning now for less than a year, and am still very much in the middle of figuring out how to move in the world as trans and as a woman.
Thanks for having me! I'll see everyone in the forums!

Hi Charlie!  Glad you joined us.
And really glad you read the rules - makes my job so much easier!

College is a great place to explore your gender identity.  You might want to drop in on our MtF board, and make yourself known.

Welcome!

Welcome to our little family. Over 7806  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi Charlie. Welcome! I'm Laura. I'm pretty new here as well.
I'm also going to college, while attempting to begin transitioning, so we have that in common. Looking forward to seeing you around on the boards and hearing more from you!

Hi Charlie ,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

You sound as though you have a good understanding of who you are, which is good. Seeing you are at college, you may find support groups there or even student services may have or know of a therapist that can assist you through the labyrinth.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in and start talking.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone! It's pretty cool to get greetings from all over the world.
Ms. OBrien, I never really made that connection when I thought of my username. Hah.
Laura, it's great to meet someone else in the same boat! I'm looking forward to hearing more from you.
Catherine Sarah, I'm lucky to have found a good therapist and a good doc for HRT pretty quickly. I go a rather large university, so there are good resources there as well that I plan to become more involved with in the upcoming semester.
Anyway, thanks again everyone! See you around!
