Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. So far I've been going through transition alone. Even though I still have a few facial hair removal sessions to go I will be going full time in this coming up October. How and where can I find other transgendered people like me? I am a male to female non-op who is mostly attracted to other male to female non-ops and also attracted to women. I live in south Minneapolis. I have tried the Minnesota transgender health coalition but I can't find their supposed transgender group meeting place. I tried to attend one of their meetings but I couldn't find the location. Apparently their website hasn't been updated in several months which gives me the impression that the group and the organization is defunct. I am 29 and I've never been to a bar before. I wouldn't know what to expect if I went to one. My sister suggested I should try going to the gay 90's sometime. She's straight but has been there once or twice with a group of friends some that are gay or lesbian. I usually don't get out much. I would like to get out more but I don't have anyone to spend time with or go do things with others like me. I don't know any other transgendered people. Are there other transgender groups in the twin cities area that meet up? How about the surrounding areas near the twin cities? Are there other transgendered people looking to meet others like themselves in my area? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Ida, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 7758 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

Other mods and members -

Who do we know of in the Minneapolis area. I am pretty sure we have some.

Off the top of my head I can come up with Flan, Robert Scott, and Diane Elizabeth.

I am pretty sure Flan is tuned into the Tg/Ts  community there.

Yo, my name is Alexis and I'm from Rochester Minnesota. I'm 20.

So are you kinda by Bloomington or what?

I've been to a minnesota trans health coalition meeting and there were people there... you just show up at the building at the right time and thats it. I think I went on a Wednesday?
If you do not agree to my demands... TOO LATE

kristin?

I'd love to take you up on that, but unfortunately there's quite a bit of distance between there and North Charleston, SC. I didn't think there'd be any support groups in this state, but there's one that meets not 15 minutes away from me, going to be going to my first meeting this Saturday :)
Need anyone just to talk to I'd be up for it, I'm pretty much pre-everything myself (hoping to start hormones ASAP), so I need all the advice and support I can get, and would love to talk to other transpeople
