Does anyone have any experiences with Dr. Beck?

I'm wondering if anyone has had work done by Dr. Beck.  Unlike a lot of other surgeons, it's been difficult to find independent accounts that don't come from his office.  I met with him for a consult last week (and with Dr. O), but it would be nice to hear some independent accounts before I make a decision.  Thanks in advance : )

I had a consultation with him and it seems he has this minimalist philosophy...a little tweak her and a little tweak there....I went with Dr. O and I am glad I did...but it wasn't cheap!

Thanks! : )  Ironically, I've actually been considering Beck because of his minimalist philosophy.  I pass just fine as I am, so I was questioning whether something more conservative might be more appropriate to achieve what I want.  The problem is, I can't seem to find anyone who says they have actually had work done by him, or any examples of his work other than those published by his office. It would make me feel much better. 


Actually, since you brought up cost, Dr. O and Dr. Beck quoted me amounts that were within $1,000.00 of each other, but Beck's office offered me a $6,500.00 discount.  They said they like to make these procedures affordable for everyone.  I've never heard of anyone doing that before, either. 


May I ask when you had your work done with Dr. O?  Thanks again for your input!

OK so they add $6,500 and then give you a discount. Yes, just like buying a car...that is what turned me off, they even have a "closer" there. I had three procedures with the Great One, the last in July of 2009. If you are concerned about his age--that he is too old---I would answer, he will know when it is time to "hang up the scalpel."

...After posting this, I spoke to Mira and confirmed that Dr. O is still on top of his game. To me, he is the master, a modern day equivalent of a DaVinci. More than anyone, it was his work that allowed me to have the life I have now, a respected woman in academia at the most prestigious public university in the world and a future teacher or lawyer.

I'm reposting in this because I'm hoping to find someone who has actually had surgery with Dr. Beck, and there haven't really been any responses to this thread.  Were you happy with the results?  I'd love to get some outside opinions, other than the before and after photos his office provides.  Call me paranoid, but I do love a good independent source : )

Were you ever able to find a patient of Dr. Becks?  I have seen him twice and really like him  and his staff but would love to hear from a real live patient too!
