Base on your picture, the way you dress gives me the impression of a mature responsible young man. But your hair does give you a baby face look. My suggestion is to change the hairstyle. I use to have short hair and would grow it out, pick a style and give it a try. If i don't like it, chop it off and wait for it to grow up and try a new style.

Based on that picture I would place you early 20's. Definitely not a teen. I realise there is a shadow effect in the picture that may influence your looks but based on that pic your face looks very masculine . And yes as others have alluded to, your clothing style will be a big part of how you present. Your shirt and pants look great, you present as a very good looking young man.

Mmmm wish I was younger :-*

Just don't have your waisband too high on your trousers or you're liable to go too far the other way:

:o

It's hard for me to judge age based on pictures, and usually even face to face (I still get asked for ID into my thirties so... yeah), but you look very yummy handsome in that picture you posted. I don't think you look like a teen at all. Very smart, and suarve.

longer hair maybe?  I'm not sure why, but I always look mad younger right after getting it cut.  Logic tells me then that I must look slightly older with longer hair.   That also, however, probably depends a lot on how ones own hair/face works.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Yeah, I agree.  I just have a semi short/messy hairstyle.

I actually took some pics of the tucked/dress shirt last night

Elijah, you look very handsome and yes, older, in that picture.

When I wear dress shirts, it usually causes people to pin me older than my age, so.

I am tired of looking like a 16-18 year old.  I pass completely, but lack the build and the facial hair.  I just have a small
fail-stashe.

I'm 21 years old, and I am an old soul, I don't like most teenagers/young people and I hate that I look like one.

Should I dress differently?  I typically just wear casual button downs and cargo/khaki pants, that or my motorcycle jacket.

I'm 5'7, which is short for an adult guy, but not crazy short, I guess its just my baby face, I dunno.

I have the same problem though I have been pegged as young as 14 even though I am 22 good luck I am trying to figure out how to look older too

clothes and hair are the key try to not have bangs as they tend to make you look more youthful also dont wear sneakers or hoodies dont wear graphic tees and avoid plaids. wear sweaters, and nicer jackets instead.

short and sweet, the sweaters is a good idea, if i saw someone in a hoodie, compared to a sweater i would automatically think of them as older with a sweater on/younger with a hoodie

unfortunately, practically EVERY casual button down right now is plaid, I like plaid, but I would like it more if i could find the same shape/material shirts just not plaid

When I worked at a print shop that was 1/2 American/Japanese owned I noticed that many of the Japanese executives would add just a touch of grey to their hair to make themselves look older

thats cool! I actually love the bit of grey that men get in their sideburns and the hair around their ears, I think it looks really nice

Do I look older in this? Although, i guess I cant go around all day wearing a suit, but maybe wearing the jacket over a sweater or t shirt once it gets a bit cooler may look nice and age me a bit.

That ups you to late twenties in my book, and if I could reach through the computer, you would be in danger of being molested. (That wasn't shy at all, oops. Sorry.  ::) )
