somewhat of a stupid pointless post but...21 days on t and i had decent sideburns but the majority was just lots and lots of peach fuzz...i shaved it bc i think it will look better growing in but now im kinda sad/depressed over it bc i feel like i look younger/less manly...idk, i liked em i guess lol...

I felt the same when I shaved for the first time since starting T. All I have to say is just take comfort in the fact that you have started your medical transition and more progress is coming your way. :)

Same here, I think for what I know that is the expected way guys start groming facial hair.

I actually feel this way sometimes after shaving, especially since I'm not the tallest guy out there. However, now I'm at the point where I get shadow around my chinstrap area less than a day after shaving, so it isn't that bad anymore.
Meow.

Based upon your avatar picture Brayden, I don't think you should have any problems feeling less manly! You pass 100% to me and you've only been on T for 21 days....it's only gonna get better!  ;D

Congratulations, you already have more facial hair than I will ever have. I've never been able to grow sideburns.

Sheeesh, can you believe I felt bad at school because all the boys (even the girls) were hairier than me? "I'm the manliest!", they said, showing their first vellums and moustaches... So many years  ago, and I still can't get decent hair or vellus.

You might want to think about getting a small pair of scissors to just do grooming, instead of completely shaving off. It may take a little bit more work, and a few tries to get it down right, but it might be worth it, especially if you're just wanting to keep the sideburns in check.

wheat thins are delicious

Get a beard trimmer and cut it pretty short, but not shaved to the skin.  That way you can have it even while it's all growing out, but still have some hair there.  That's what has been recommended to me by people online, but I still don't feel comfortable enough to do that so I just let my facial hair all grow, though it does, in some spots look like pubes.  I shaved in May while I was on recovery from a non-trans surgery and felt suicidal (as dumb as that sounds) and majorly depressed.

I second the beard trimmer comment! Trimming without shave-shaving makes a huge difference for me psychologically!

We  got Whals trimmers for my boys. They love them. Highly recommend them.

I think you are being very hard on yourself braydon. 21 days on t is not very much. And there are plenty of young men out there who are also thin and working on muscle definition/building, and THEY"VE always been male! Go to a place where young men hang out ( you look young that is why I suggest this) I think you will notice that many are right there with you and you will blend.  You can not compare yourself to a 30 year old man any more than my son should. Be reasonable. Gosh, maybe I'm not giving good advice, I'm starting to sound like a broken record because the same feelings are being aired here by my 16 year old.
