This story warmed my heart, haha!
I used to work for the state caring for developmentally disabled persons. At the time I was presenting as male, albeit feminine, and dressing in boys' clothing. When I first met my guys I could tell I was somewhat of a curiosity for them on top of being a new face, which really is normal for anyone! There was some confusion regarding my gender even by other staff members and of course the guys were catching onto the pronoun mix-ups as well. One of my clients finally couldn't handle it anymore and lifted a finger at me, walked over, and immediately patted my chest. He looked me straight in the eyes and shook his head hard left and right, walked back, and sat down. I was astonished, humoured and embarrassed. It obviously wasn't in sexual context and a behavior report had to be filled out, but I remember it to this day as being remarkably honest!
