Has FFS not worked?

I had FFS done with Dr. Cardenas and was amazed by the skill of his surgical team. The profile picture I use is of me before surgery. I had my chin shortened, brow bossing, cheek implants (which look awesome), some fat injection in the lips (very natural looking), and a brow lift.

Basically, I used advice from Virtual FFS and Dr. Cardenas experience to determine what procedures to get. Here is where I need some support.

Quick note: I recommend Dr. Cardenas. I kept hearing his work looks really natural and that is so true. Even with all of that work done, it doesn't look like I have had surgery.

I has been only a month and realize that is hardly anytime, but I just had my Faculty ID picture taken and I look really young, feminine, but not female.

For those who have had FFS, does it get better? Is there a time when things just click? I really could use some inspiration about now. I know about the internal self, this is just a question about the physical self.

i had surgury with him too. it was i think like week 6-8 when it strated always being Ms. and every month more and more my face changed. i think give it a little more time and people will start telling you

Especially for the chin work, 1 month is just not long enough. Actually, it's just not long enough period. Give it at least 8 weeks post-op before you start worrying about it.

Also... who don't you look female to? I have some pretty bad issues with self-perception. I still sometimes struggle to see a girl in the mirror (and despise photos of me)... but I'm unquestionably female to everyone else (over a year post-op). It may have more to do with your perception/dysphoria than how you actually look. And that does get better over time, but the time schedule is more months than weeks.

At one month my face looked like it was stretched over a balloon. Full recovery took about a year I think.
"Of course!"

Thank you, that is what I needed to hear.

Sometimes the anxiety just kicks in. For all the money, all the time, all of the pain--sacrificing relationships with friends and family, I just hope beyond hope that the prayer I prayed to God when I was really little may come true, "God, will you let me be a girl, please?"
