Hi,
My name is--or is soon to officially be--Julia. I've been on this forum for a few months now. I've been seeing a therapist and an endocrinologist for nearly half a year now. Within the last month I've gone almost full time as a female. Tomorrow morning I will start hormones. A very light dose of spiro--to be increased after a week--and estradiol. It won't do much, but I made sure my doctor knew I wanted to go uber slow--slow and steady wins the race! I already suffer--am blessed with-- low T, and some other problem--blessing--that makes it so I can't convert T into DHT. Plus I'm only in my early 20's.
I know I have wanted this since I was young but didn't think I could actually do it. I thought it was wrong and sinful. I've come a long way in six months, and still have a long ways to go. But I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Any hormone taking advice?

Welcome to the Dark Side.   >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-)

We have cookies.   ;D

Take them religiously.  And keep it up.  Don't expect changes over night.  It does take years.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Congratulations! I've been on them for 6 mos. now, and I still remember the ear-to-ear grin the first day... ;D

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...
