I know we're not really supposed to talk about dosages here so I won't say how much.  But I just saw my doctor after being on T for six weeks and she's basically doubled my dosage, so next shot I'll be taking twice as much as before.  I'm excited, and I just wanna know what your guys' experience has been with increasing your dose.  Obviously changes will come on faster, but I'm wondering if mood swings might be more intense/frequent, if I'll start to feel low right before my shot or what else to expect.  Any thoughts?

FTM seem to calm down and become civil with a proper dose of T. I have not seen a trans man that becomes emotional and agro on T, MTF yes, but not trans men.

Changes will come as they do. Follow doctors orders and enjoy the ride.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

My doctor used that approach...started on a low dosage and began increasing it.  She said it helped with mood swings and such because you give your body a chance to adjust to the hormones.

I just had labs too and my doctor increased my dosage as well b/c she is not seeing enough changes in me like she would like - even though my T levels are in the normal male range she bumped my dosage a little

Like Cynthialee and Robert said, I found with my current dose that my mood swings are nonexistent. I'm pretty sanguine most of the time. I only get a little tiffy when I hit my hormone low before my shot, but that's pretty normal from my understanding. T doesn't equate crazy mood swings or increased aggression and for a lot of FTMs, it helps with them. As for lows, yeah, I get them. Some lows are worse than others. I've noticed that since the weather has gotten unbearably hot my lows seem a little worse, but it could also just seem that way for a variety of reasons.

Sorry, this made me chuckle. Estrogen is what my grandmother calls her "built in crazy"  She was terrifying when she was going through menopause. I learned not to upset a lady when she's having hormone fluctuations from her.

The clinic was asking me to reduce my dose, and I started feeling off, sort of blah, and a bit depressed. When I reduced a bit more, I really felt it. Tired, run down, unmotivated, and depressed. Suddenly-having-thoughts-of-suicide-again depressed. When I raised my dose again, I felt more energetic, more clear-headed, and definitely not depressed. So maybe you will have a similar experience.
