Hi everyone,
I'm Allison. Ever since I can remember, I've felt I was a female. When I was little, I wanted to wear skirts and have long hair with barrettes like the girls (this didn't please my mom and dad one bit). In high school I had mostly female friends (platonic only) and only two male friends, one of which was gay. I was disturbed about these feelings of being the wrong gender for a very long time (my fairly conservative family found out about my crossdressing when I was 16 and their reaction was *extremely* negative), but I've come to accept it in the past few years.
I started seeing a psychiatrist in the past year. I currently live as a male but hope to start dressing full time soon and may or may not choose to transition (w/ surgery) some time in the future.
Allison K.
