Correlation: Antidepressants & Libido Changes - ??????????????????

OK folks, this is utterly nuts. WHAT is going on here?

It's like, all of a sudden I have become something of a nyphomaniac - WHY??

The only possible causative factor which is apparent, is the switch from sertraline to Lexapro.

I was also prescribed Xanax and trazadone [to facilitate sleep maintenance].

Have any of you observed comparable vast increases in libido, secondary to an antidepressant changeover??

This is a stressor which I do not need right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't need this; I may remove the Trazadone component...I cannot function like this - at the moment.

(I have a similar answer on another thread of yours.)

Xanax increased libido in me years ago.  It is the only drug that "sometimes" halts my depression.  It also requires larger and larger doses to work for me.  Since it is addictive my regular doctors are very reluctant to write me new prescriptions.  The drug is very addictive for me and I am not taking it at this time.

If you are able to sleep without it, by all means stop taking it. One less med to pollute the body and all.
WRT taking care of it and old liasons...how about envisioning new liasons?
