Just came out to VERY religious BFF

So a few tears on my part and a two and a half hour phone call and the deed is done.  My best friend, who also very much vested in faith now knows I'm trans and on my path.  Truthfully nothing has been more terrifying and freeing at the same time.  Granted I did have to sit though about 45min of how we're all sinners because we were born with it... and on and on, however it all ended with both telling each other that we still love and care for each other as if we were brothers.. now brother and sister.  I can't express how much of a weight has been lifted knowing that I finally have someone in my life that can help support me though this all.

Congrats with the coming out!  I know fear is the biggest reason holding me back from telling many of my closest friends, but its great to hear one of yours will be there to support you!
