Just four days of work left, and today I'm working from home (electrolysis appointment).  Next Monday (the 10th) I fly to Montreal, and check-in.  Hardly seems real!  SOoooo ready!!  ;D

YAY!

Best of luck and wishes for an awesome time in Canada.

If I ever get the money togather, Brassard would be my first choice.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Thanks, guys.  It certainly helps that I live in Ontario, and my surgery is covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) by virtue of my having "passed the audition" (CAMH).

Congrats, he's awesome, hospital is awesome, nursing staff is awesome, care house is awesome, Montreal is awesome. The whole experience is awesome, lol. Can you tell? I'm um...OMG! 8 weeks yesterday, yeah! Relax, let it come to you, don't freak with the like 15 days afterward. The pain wasn't bad at all I thought. You'll do fine, just keep smiling and focusing on the future! Meghan

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Wow... it's a dream come true isn't it? You'll be on cloud nine for months. The pain and inconveniences are nothing compared to the feeling you'll have when you wake up, put your hand down there, and realize that it's GONE!

Best of luck to you. Take some good reading material and whatever else you need to entertain yourself. But enjoy it. Revel in it. Live it. What a wondrous thing!
