Hello all! I am looking at my hormone tests by my endo pre surgery and it shows my estrogen level to be about 500. Post surgery I switched endos because I moved and my estradiol level reads 515. My testosterone count both pre and post surgery was <20. Im taking the same dosage however Im having trouble balancing my hormones post op but going back on spironolactone has helped tremendously. Both of my lab reports are by quest, the same company. So, when my old endo tested my E levels, is it safe to assume that when they printed it as "estrogen" they were referring to estradiol? So in essence, my estradiol levels are the same now and my problem in hormone balance is not with estradiol at all?
OR does estrogen level mean a total count of E1, E2, and E3 levels (estrone, estradiol, and estriol). I am confused. Anyone know?
