please help todays Nikki's bday!

So today is Nikki's birthday and I'm so depressed for one we both worked today... I'm also sad because I only got her a card that says to my wife. I did also bid on a shirt for her on ebay which she wanted. I feel like I'm not giving her enough. I mean I am going to buy her flowers. Last year for her bday I took her to a casino to watch a show we went to a bar and ihop and got pedicures. I spoiled her last year. I'm just not sure a card and flowers and a shirt well is enough... I feel so helpless. I love my wife I just feel like she deserves better and way more. Like am I in denial are my gifts ok or should I do more for her?

well if you love her try to spend time with her - it's probably what she would want the most.

as for the gifts - I really believe that if you really care about the person - the size and quantity of the gift doesn't matter as long as it was something thoughtfull and from the heart.

as a girl - I would like it and appreciate it if people gave me something thoughtful no matter how small or big or What it is or how may they are or how much it costs.

and since you both had worked on the same day - I am sure she would understand and in all probability all she may want to do - is come home to your loving arms.

Personally I don't think she will really care about gifts or cards.  It is all about the love you show her that will mean the most.

Thanks so much! Nikki has my love and always will! she's my queen and I want to provide everything she needs for eternity! I have faith in my wife I can't stand being away from her. I fall even more in love with her everyday! Its amazing watching her transform into a beautiful woman! She's always ther for me when I need her I just wish I can be there more for her! We work opposite schedules so we only have one day off together. I told her today that I'm depressed I feel as if I never get to see you any more. I'm a hopless romantic and it hurts this time we both got of work late. You all are right the greatest gift on earth I can give my wife is my love!

Nikki59s~Girl,

I was thinking perhaps taking your Nikki59 out for a romantic dinner or prepare a romantic candle light dinner at home. My amazingly supportive wife & I do that sometimes for Valentines and my Birthday. Sometimes it is the little from the heart contributions that make a celebration special. Like you I miss my wife, she is still working for another 5 to 7 years while I have been retired for 10 years...I am waiting for her to retire so we can go places and play together. Like you I am more in love every day too as we progress together.

I don't know if you are like me, but I never like a big fuss on my B'day to me it is just another day, there isn't much I want or can thing of gift wise, so out to dinner or a romantic one at home is fine with me. You have one awesome wife and wonderful to see your love for each other growing. Happy Birthday!
