Hello Everyone

I am brand new to the forums and blogging so bare with me  :)  My name is Cameron Issac but you can call me either or.  I am 28 years old and finally came out as transgender(FTM) about 6 months ago.  I have felt male my entire life and always felt different from everyone else.  I lived as a male for 2-3 years as a teenager but when the truth came out I was devastated and felt even more like a freak.  I was very sheltered and uneducated at the time and knew nothing about GID, HRT, or even top surgery so I felt that I was forced to live as a butch lesbian.  I never felt like I fit in that category though and I never understood why.  Now I can proudly say that I am a transgender male and I am not a freak.  I began HRT on June 6, 2012 and am on my way to living a much happier life - Super excited and eagerly anticipating all of the changes to finally take place!   I look forward to meeting others with same/similar experiences and am always open to chat so hit me up. 8)

Hi Cameron, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 7999  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi Cameron ,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in and start talking.

So pleased you have done all the hard work up front by acknowledging who you are, and prepared to live out that decision. It's healthy for everyone in the end.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
