Hello Lovely ones,

I have been reading a lot about Avodart lately for hair issues. My Dr. is ready to give me a perscription and he recommends it but I cannot afford it's price in the US since I have no insurance and I pay out of poclet :-(. SO I heard about online pharmacies in Canada but I am worried about scam and fake websites! Although some require my Dr. to send them the prescription directly but I am still concerned that they just wanna fake being legit for US consumers  and then I will get a fake Avodart.
Any advice and tip will be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Thanks a lot,
Elissa

From what I have seen, if they require a copy of the script they are legitimate.  They should also have a phone number you can call.

Uhm, aren't medications roughly the same price everywhere (with variations depending on the pharmacy, but not on the country)? I mean, in Canada, at least in my province, we do pay only 20 % of the price of medications, and nothing past 100 $ a month or so, but that's because as citizens, if we don't subscribe to a private insurance, we're automatically on the state's insurance. But the prices on the receipts, before insurance, those are rather high.

If anything, US prices may even be a little lower, since a lot of medications are produced there, and to Canada, there are additional transportation costs and perhaps taxes.

And uhm, I haven't looked into it at all, but I sort of doubt there are many online pharmacies in Canada. Isn't our country a lot less lax than yours on regulation in that field (and many others)?
