Hi All,
I am Allison the post op woman next door,if you live in Erie PA that is,  I just joined here because a friend of mine told me this is a good place to be, so here I am. I hope to meet some new friends and take part in some interesting conversations. I can't think of anything interesting about myself as life is kind of at a standstill for now, so I will post more later.

I'm Helen, the pre-op woman next door (in SW New York)!  I almost got a job in Erie a few years ago but the fools didn't hire me.

I'm very pleased you found us and decided to join up.  I don't think this is a "good place to be" - I think Susan's is a GREAT place to be!  I'm sure you'll feel right at home in no time.  Please take your shoes off and look around, the forums are wonderful and the rest of the site: Links, WIKI and CHAT are just as good.  The people here are kind and supportive.  Please take a minute to double check Susan's Terms of Service - they are really easy to follow since they just boil down to, "Be kind and be decent."  https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.0.html
