I'm 18 and I signed back up for school. But before I dropped out in October 2011 I requested to the board of education that I be transferred from Hoover to the alternative school because I didn't want to be around my ex girlfriend who I was still in love with at the time and her boyfriend. Well, I dropped out and when I got together with my current girlfriend she kept talking to me about returning to school so that I could get my education and after talking about it for a week I agreed. So I went to Hoover before school started to sign back up and the principle, who is a complete dick by the way, said I had to go to alternative school until January. Well, I went to the board of education and they said that even though I requested alternative school, I still had to go there. So I started there and was told that instead of January they have set my review date for October as it is the earliest time they can review me. My girlfriend goes to Hoover and that's one of the reasons I want to go to that particular school. Well, at school I today I was sitting at a table with 3 girls and the meanest one asked me "Hey, are you a boy or a girl?" And the other two girls looked at me and I said "Boy" and the other two said "See I told you" and the mean one said "You're lyin" and I said "No, I'm not" and she said "You are not no boy" And I asked why she thought that and she said "Cause you have a girl face" and the other two said "No, he doesn't he just don't look 18" and then the mean one said "Well then, are you gay?" and I said "No." and she ended up calling me an it. and then said "Well, I'll watch the bathrooms today to see which one you go in." Well at bathroom break I decided not to go and stood by the wall talking to my friend Larry and a teacher yelled "Boys on the right, girls on the left" and she pointed to me and Larry to get in the boys line so we both walked over in the line and waited to go back to class. Well, the girl in my class said "Girls on the left." to me and I just looked at her and went back to talking to Larry and unfortunately the girls from breakfast that morning was standing in the girls line and said "she told me she was a boy" and the girl from my class said "no, that's a girl" and then Larry noticed what was happening and was trying to distract me by talking to me so I wouldn't hear what they were saying but it didn't work and I caught on to their conversation because it was quite loud. They started laughing about me and the mean one from earlier said "We might have a he she in the school" and the girls laughed. I was very upset and humiliated and on the way back to class a boy in my class said "Don't listen to them, they're stupid" and I went in the class and asked my teacher who witnessed the whole thing if I could sign myself out since I was 18 and he called the office and said "Kentrie wants to know if she can sign herself out" and I though Really? How hard is it to call me he after what just happened. I was furious and signed myself out and caught a ride home but I'm afraid to go to school tomorrow.
Push it baby, push it baby, out of control, I got my gun cocked tight and I'm ready to blow. ;)

Dude that sucks so much. That girls is obviously so insecure. Call her out on it. Ask her what it is she hates about herself so much that she has to try and bring you down. By what you said you've got a few friends and allies. Bring a friend that knows about you and set that teacher straight. Same with that 'mean girl.' *Sigh* HS girls can be so pathetic sometimes.

That's a good idea. But I'm to afraid to set the teacher straight. But I could probably have a friend do it but since most of my friends are extremely mouthy it might end with the teacher getting yelled at and punched in the mouth.

Man that is so horrible. I had so many problems like that in high school and i really was uncomfortable with my gender identity at the time and people like that didnt make it any better. Just tell them you're a guy and its none of their fu***** business. Ask them why they care so much anyway, and why do they have to go around making people feel bad about themselves. One thing ive learned about bullies is that if you call them out and show them no fear they tend to back off - all bark and no bite.
it sounds like your friend larry is a good guy tho so just stick with him and stay true to yourself! and definitely tell your teacher about the situation so he or she can be your ally too. there's not much those bullies can say if the teacher tells them to shut up.

Just know that high school doesnt last forever and stupid people are just that - stupid. Keep your chin up mate and keep us updated and if you ever need to chat just shoot me a pm were here for ya buddy
