I'm always curious about breakfasts. I'm a bit of a health nut and like it simple, so for me it's usually a bowl of whole wheat cereal and a glass of skim milk.

What do you eat? Or do you skip it?

What does your breakfast menu say about you?
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Usually just coffee, on the rare occasion when I'm not feeling so lazy, I might have some eggs and bacon with toast. And apparently, I drink so much coffee that my sister in law thought to send me some as a surprise, lol.

Wow, y'all really like your coffee.... I was never a fan. If you want to wake yourself up without being hooked on coffee:

1. Get some sunlight (Blue light triggers serotonin production, which gives you energy and lifts your mood. Sunlight is an intense source of blue light)

2. Spray yourself with some cold water and see if that doesn't wake you.

Also, turkey burgers are great at breakfast.  ;D

Usually I don't do breakfast.  Never really have.

But if I do it is usually Carnation Instant Breakfast in whole milk.  Oh and coffee of course.

Some days it is just a Pepsi.

1. Get some sunlight

And here comes the second saddest part of the year for me. In a month, I'll enter my workplace in complete darkness and leave the same. I won't see the sunlight from monday to friday for months.

Winter sucks

What?! Winter rocks! Snow, bracing cold that wakes you up, you never need to search for a breeze, and you always have an excuse to snuggle  ;).

Then again, I'm the person that commutes by bike, even in winter, with only a t-shirt, sneakers, shorts, gloves and a helmet...

Um, where do you live?
I would literally die if I biked to school in a tshirt and shorts in the middle of winter. I would actually be DEAD!

The northern, colder part of NYS.... I know it's probably colder up there in Canada, but I still like winter.  :)

Now, why would we want to do that?

Well, I was just giving some friendly tips (hence the word "if", meaning "in the event that"). If you like your coffee, keep it.

I don't drink it for me, it's a public service to everyone else!

granola+raisins+soy milk, apple or other fruit later.

while in college in Chicago, there was a guy who wore shorts and a t-shirt year round.  said being cold was in your head....

Winter is also the best part for me since I can't stand the heat, but the darkness thing... If someday I need to live in another country, it has to be higher in the glove than where I am right now.

Now that im a health nut, no more smoking of anything at all, no exceptions! And breakfast should contain one fruit and something else healthy. Coffee only when I really need it.

That's great!

This guy sounds awesome! Then again, I commute at an average speed of 21 mph on a bike on mostly flats and upward hills, so that warms me up  :).

Also, a great breakfast addition is peanut butter toast.  ;D

Peanut butter toast should be a food group of its own!

If I'm being good? A Vanilla protein Odwalla.

Bad? A Sugar Free Red Bull and a couple of donuts :)

A piece of toast, coffee, and sometimes a smoke. But when I was living in the states, I would just have slim fast. Cheap, quick, easy and had plenty of vitamins and stuff.
