I took advantage of a Groupon and I'm going to start getting lazer done on my neck- my face will follow if that goes well (once I have the money). My first session is Wednesday. Any lazer vets have tips for prepping or for post-session care? Thanks! :)

Shave as close as possible beforehand. Get some aloe/mederma scar creme + 50SPF sunblock for after. Hope it blasts the nasties away!

U do understand it is a multi-treatment thing, probably will take 5 sessions 1 month apart to end up with good results.

I just had my first session on my face less than an hour ago. It really was not too bad. The chest is much worse. I would recommend putting on some sun block afterward and try and stay out of the sun.  Good luck!

Yea to reiterate, sunblock and keep sun exposure to a minimum if possible :)

At my intake appointment the lazer tech said it was a good thing I bought 6 sessions because my hair is so dense, but she also said the lazer would "love me" because of my fair skin and dark hair...

I set an appointment to do my chest today. My first concrete action!

My first session wasn't that bad- Yeah, it felt like they were blasting rivets into my face and the smell of burning flesh was.. unsettling. But it was over quickly and the irritation just looked like a sunburn and went away within 48 hours. Back at it again in a month!

Back when i had it done they told me to not shave from the appointment up to the day it was getting done so not sure on that part o_o.
Neck doesn't hurt as much so not to worry, it's when they start doing the sensitive areas on your face like upper lip and sideburns that really makes you want to scream.
