There's been the threads on "guys I wish I looked like" or "guys I'd like to look like", but what about other guys that you've actually got the potential to look like? Since I've been racking my brain on how to look more androgynous male I've been trying to give myself a boost surfing around looking for dudes that have some features I do, dress how I do (or close to it) or at least I have the potential to look a little similar to. Had to do something to pull myself out of being bummed, so I figured why not ... a post like this might help un-bum some other guys out there.

Here's what I've come up with:

Jack White

Ville Valo

Gerard Way

I like the way all 3 of these guys look, like most of their fashion style, and they're all around my age.

I could easly look like justin bieber but I dont want too.. -__-

Yeah inside, I agree with all of those. First thing I thought for you was Jack White, someone in another thread also said Judd Nelson and I thought that was dead on.

And same here Natkat, I've actually had people (all older women...) tell me I looked like him... I haven't heard it in a while though, maybe cause I cut my hair shorter. A lot of people here said Dylan Sprouse for me too

Nygeel

I had somebody say I look like Jonah Hill and Seth Rogan before but I don't see it.

Luc

Ouch, Nygeel... I don't see either. Some people don't realize they have no ability to recognize who looks like whom; I've often been compared to any heavyset guy because a lot of people think that if you're overweight, you look just like anyone else who's overweight.

I've been told I look like Edward Norton. I don't see it at all, but I'm certainly happy for the Fight Club reference.

I don't see it either Nygeel, I echo what Luc says...some people just pick one trait you happen to share with someone else and decree you look exactly like them. I can't count how many times in my former life I got told I looked like Angelina Jolie....look anywhere other than my chest and there is no similarity at all xD

I've always thought I sorta look like Aki Hakala...the drummer from The Rasmus...but I'm not sure if that's just because we have very similar glasses :D I do think we have the same square face shape though.

Add some facial hair, eyeliner, a hair cut, and more masculine facial features, and I could look hot.

A. Loki

Well...I'm sort of a chameleon in that I tend to turn partially into whichever celebrity or movie character I'm currently obsessed with.  At the moment though, I seeeriously look like Loki from the Avengers, which I find hilarious because I chose the name Loki before that movie came out...but I could also feasibly look like Adam Lambert, and have in the past.

I actually do see that a little in your avatar pic, but I can't say it would have occurred to me without you mentioning it.

Dante

This is an idea I thought of too, as I think it would be a nice confidence booster to be able to see a sort of close representation of your male self, but I've had trouble finding any guys who look like me. Pretty much everyone in my family has a celebrity look alike but me. And I really have no idea about how to go searching for a guy who looks like me either. Any ideas on how to get started?

Based on my avatar, is there anyone who I look like?

I literally had not seen a picture of him in years, but seeing that pic immediately made me think of Jonathan Brandis.   (cute guy, but a sad story)

This intrigued me and I ended up looking for celebrity look alikes on face recognition stuff on the internet (http://celebrity.myheritage.com/FP/Company/try-face-recognition.php) , but weirdly I just kept ending up with mostly asian guys even though I've not got the slightest trace of asia in my blood. The only one that seemed almost there was William Moseley.

Me:

I got the Justin Beiber thing the other day, which generally means that I'm in desperate need of a haircut or need to bother to straighten the front to get rid of the soft sweepy thing that happens.

I'm bored so I ran some of your photos through the thing (it doesn't store them or anything so I hope that's okay) and came up with
Edge:
Mikey Way
Elias:
Tom Welling

(I have no idea where any of these people are from, I have about the celebrity knowledge equal to that of a goldfish.)

Ah, I just did that my heritage face recognition thing. It's really all dependent on the angle your picture is taken vs the angle of pictures they have. I just did 5 pictures of myself that were pretty recent and got Amy Webber, and Tori Amos (as well as a bunch of other women, what the heck!?). Did get a few D.O.G.s (dead old guys) which was interesting. Charlie Chaplin, and Earnest Hemmingway for example.
