i been on estradiol  tablets coming up on 5 months and had 2 questions

when i started taking pills i was taking them about mid day after lunch but eventually got later in the day it turned to taking them at nite what i feel it's been taking me alot longer to get to sleep, recently i forgot my dose before sleep and took in the morning then instead and now i seem i might feel more awake but bit airy headed, all in all i'm bit confused on what time i should shoot for taking them i asked few friends and im always told consistency is best but never any time, does it rely not matter what time their taken ?

and 2nd question, what i seem is more important, as i been taking hrt and getting blood test and such when i 1st had gone to the doctor she said that my test came back poor and if their was something that coulda effected it and i had taken headache medicine before hand so we made a test appointment and the 2nd time she said my results looked fine so i started , but then later i took another test and she said they look off again (AST 52 , ALT 86) is what i was told, and she said i should go see another doctor about liver cues my results are inconsistent, any ideas on this ? and i am trying see another doctor tho im not sure i will make it before my next scheduled appointment what im not sure what she will say if i haven't seen another doctor by then :x , it would suck to drive there just to be told i need reschedule to after i visit the other doctor sense its 70miles to the clinic

It would be best to keep taking your medications at the same time or times each day, but slowly drifting to being earlier or later probably won't hurt anything.

As for your liver, this is really hard to say without the multiple detailed pathology reports.

It's definitely elevated, though provided I'm assuming the right unit of measurement it's not 'enormously' elevated.

The question is why, and that would require a lot more information about your overall health profile. For example...

Do you drink much?
Are you obese?
Is your diet poor?
Any history of exposure to hepatitis (it's not likely but could do a blood test to check for sure).
Family history of liver disease?
Medication history.

Etc.

All this is stuff a competent doctor should go over with you to try and find out the cause of the elevation. Might give you an ultrasound to get a clearer picture if they're getting worried.

It also depends a bit on exactly what you're taking now, cyproterone acetate is something you should probably avoid if your liver is compromised. But again, this is stuff your doctor will hopefully have a better idea about.

Headache medicine is pretty vague, if it's regular tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol), that can cause elevated liver results or damage if taken excessively.

I can speculate, but you need a doctor to get real answers.

I'm on transdermal estriol creme not estradiol but... I do a divided dose, I apply first time after my shower in the morning (10:00-11:00) and I apply second time around 5:30 to 6:00. I normally go to bed around 2-3AM. If I take second dose much later I have a hard time falling asleep. It was my understanding it's better to keep an even level, which is why I do a divided dose. I have found I don't sleep as easily as I used to pre-hrt anyway but it's not horrible.

On the liver stuff, I would discuss with the doctor possible other forms of E besides pills or at the very least get the type you can dissolve under your tongue. It's possible you have other heath issues but no reason to put stress on your liver needlessly.

. im not sure what cyproterone is,
Cypro is a T-blocker and is not allowed in the states as far as I know

I did use cypro for 2,5 years, however did not have any liver problems

Ibuprofen doesn't have the same degree of risk to your liver as Acetaminophen, it does have risks of it's own though, specifically stomach ulcers, which you can reduce your risk of by trying to remember to take Ibuprofen with food.

I am on the pill, I like to space my dosage out in 12 hour cycles.  I take one at 12 noon, and one before bed at midnight.

One thing I have noticed is spacing them out as such does not give me many of the ill effects some get.  Obviously ill effects are more than just timing but the body as well but I think spacing them out evenly prevents alot of fluctuation.

This only has to do with the pill~ Injections and topical cremes are another game that I know nothing about.
