I am 5'11 145lbs, lean and fit. I have a small frame, but I have substantial muscles, including 'pecs'. I know that muscle may diminish on HRT, and I am looking forward to it - but I am curious if it has been substantial for any of you? I don't have a ton of muscles, but that makes me wonder if they are likely to change at all or basically stay the same because they're not HUGE? I am particularly curious about my chest muscles in regard to breast development. By the time my breasts come in (assuming they do) will my 'pecs' still be noticable? Sorry this is inarticulate and jumbled...need some guidance here...

I have been on HRT for 3 weeks and have experienced fabulous psychological changes, which may or may not be legit from the hormones, and my nipples have become very sensitive and puffy and soft....

I was quite muscular prior to starting hrt. I had worked on losing muscle for about four months before I started, but it melted off a lot faster after I started hrt. All in all I have lost around 50lbs of muscle. That is a couple of inches in each arm, and about 6 inches in my chest. I also lost a significant amount from my neck and shoulders. My pecks were quite large, and unfortunately you can still see them a little at the base. However I think they have added to the overall size of my chest. I got my first bra yesterday, and I had to get a B cup. So I wouldn't worry too much about the muscle, especially if you are lean and not bulky like I was. Hope this helps.

I had muscle mass in my legs and in the chest, due to heavy lifting at my old job.  However I have lost a lot of it.  Chest is smaller, except for the boobs.

My legs have a nice cut to them, even though a lot of the mass is smaller now.

"Pecs" can be good as they also will heighten the breast area.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
