Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) National launched a postcard advocacy
campaign today to urge legislators to pass a bill introduced this afternoon to ban discrimination in
the workplace based on sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.

The postcards read, "People don't get fired for being straight. (But they can if they're gay, lesbian,
bisexual, or transgender.)" PFLAG anticipates that thousands will be sent from its 200,000-member-strong
supporter base to congressional representatives. The postcards urge legislators to vote yes on the
Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a bill introduced today.
